  1. What can you tell us about your company and your products & services?

Our company is focused on delivering business benefit through automation of processes. We focus mainly on AML and due diligence services. Our flagship product is KYC Portal and has become the main focus of the entire team.

  1. How did you come up with the idea and what drives you?

Client feedback drives us as a business development team and also our dev teams. The reaction we get on demos and at conferences is one of the biggest rewards. The idea had stemmed from a client of ours within the financial industry. He had approached us just before the 4th AML directive was imposed (it was still in draft back then) and had said a comment in passing that we should look into creating something that automated the obligation as it would be a nightmare to manage manually.

  1. What is it that makes your company different from others?

KYC Portal is the only tool that gives full control to the client in managing and creating due diligence processes from scratch. Allowing them to be able to tweak the full regulatory process based on market happenings and regulation changes. Without the need to get into costly development exercises, KYC Portal allows for such changes, instantly reflecting into a real time view across the data.

August 2008

  1. What traction have you made? Can you tell us about your biggest achievements so far?

We now sell KYC Portal in over 10 jurisdictions in various industries across the market. The biggest achievement however is on-boarding some of the most renowned brands globally. We have two tier 1 banks who use KYCP and also 2 of the top four audit firms. These are the biggest achievements to date.

  1. What advice could you give to other entrepreneurs and start-ups?

To treat customers as you would expect to be treated. Doesn’t necessarily mean they are always right!

  1. What can you tell us about your team?

A very thorough and dedicated team who are passionate about what we do. Most importantly a fun group of friends to be surrounded with every day!

  1. What’s next for your company?

We are constantly researching new features and modules on how to improve our core product on the market. Separate from this we collate all client feedback and analyse requirements to constantly launch new updates on our product which is invaluable when it comes to delivering business benefit.
