ESMA updates registers under MiFID and Short Selling Regulation

ESMA has issued a statement that the registers under MiFID and the Short Selling Regulation have been migrated to the global ESMA Registers web portal.

This migration concerns the following lists:

  • Shares admitted to trading on regulation markets
  • Exempted shares
  • Systematic internalisers
  • Regulated Markets
  • Multilateral trading facilities
  • Central counterparties

To ensure a smooth transition, from 1 February 2016 to 31 March 2016 the data will be available in both Portals. On 1 April 2016 the old portal will be shut down and not accessible. For automated access to these lists, please consult the updated web service procedure also published today.
