Planet Compliance begins transition from an online information portal to A digital platform company

UK, Feb. 23, 2021 /Planet Compliance/ — Planet Compliance a global resource for discovering RegTech providers and the latest trends in RegTech, Financial Innovation, and Regulatory Compliance initiates its transition from an online information portal to a digital platform company with the launch of the software version of its website.

In 2016 Planet Compliance was created as an online publication to bring visibility, clarity and understand to the RegTech market place. By 2018 not only was we a leading source of information on RegTech, regulation, finance and technology, but we also launched our first RegTech directory report profiling some of the most promising RegTech firms on the market.

In 2020 the UK-based Investment firm Reid Green & Co acquired Planet Compliance with the vision of facilitating our conversion to a SAAS-driven digital platform where buyers and sellers of RegTech and LegalTech solutions could easily discover each other.

On the 23rd February 2021, Planet Compliance completed “Phase 1” of its transition to a digital marketplace platform. This includes increasing the accessibility of our RegTech Directory (PDF Version) and RegTech 100 Ranking to our global audience but the opening up of our Content Platform where writers, content managers, and professionals are able to share their expertise on RegTech, LegalTech, Fintech, Blockchain, regulatory compliance and legislation through the Planet Compliance Content Platform.

This will not only allow content contributors to raise the profile and visibility of their own services but it will also continue to attract compliance professionals into the ecosystem where they can discover RegTech solutions through our RegTech and LegalTech Directory and Ranking products.

“Phase 2” and “Phase 3” of Planet Compliance’s transition will include the launch of our SAAS solution that expands the PDF version of our directories into online interactive searchable directories where institutions and corporates use advanced granular filtering to find RegTech and LegalTech solutions that meet their particular requirements.

Statement from Managing Director Joash Reid

“This is an exciting time for our clients, partners, and our company as it marks the first step in Planet Compliance’s evolution into a forum for discovery. The insights published by content contributors attract new readers who then explore the site to discover new software solutions. The completion of the content platform also paves the way for our PDF directory to be digitized increasing the discoverability of our RegTech and LegalTech partners. This is now our immediate focus.”
